I also ate the rest of the egg yolk and all the egg white when I made mine. :) I loved hearing about what you have been reading and have wondered about that series of books. I ate mine also. Frankly, I just don't like waste. Case in point - this morning I finished off two over, over ripe organic bananas because I thought of all the refugee children in Syria who would relish these bananas. Yeah, a bleeding heart. As you already know, although I didn't like the seaweed sablés, I really enjoyed these. Next time, oilier olives and sea salt topping per Mardi. Thanks for book recs. I read Book I but guess I need to go on to 2 and 3. Read Larson's Beasts and Chicago Devil's but had never heard of Thunderstruck. Am reading "Wild" by Cheryl Strayed and reading through Thomas Keller's Ad Hoc at Home Cookbook. Love your book suggestions. I also always thought that hanging out at higher institutions made you smarter. Because some of them work really well, like this one! I love my library too. The Millenium Trilogy was addictive, though oh so dark. I recently read "Where'd You Go, Bernadette" and have almost finished The Last Runaway by Tracy Chevalier, both recommended by our own Mary Hirsch. Great reads! Keep on reading, and hope your snow melts soon.
